Jeremy Clarkson has applied for planning permission to build an extension at his new pub.
The Clarkson's Farm star said he paid “less than £1 million” for The Windmill at Asthall which he renamed The Farmer's Dog after buying the former wedding and banqueting venue in July.
Planning documents lodged with West Oxfordshire District Council say the application is for "a modest extension to provide accessible toilet facilities (which aren’t currently available) and to provide improved cellar and storage facilities which are currently provided in temporary storage facilities to the rear".
The new internal floor area is less than 25 square metres.
Documents state: "It allows internal reconfiguration to improve toilet facilities for all and more efficient cellar facilities.

"The extension ensures suitable rear access to the kitchens is retained and an external store is also shown to replace existing temporary facilities."
It will be constructed with a horizontal external timber cladding with a new pitched roof in reconstituted Cotswold slates which will replace the existing bitumen flat roof.
The pub lies within the Cotswold National Landscape but is not the subject of any other constraint or designation.
When he first acquired the pub Mr Clarkson said the facilities needed an upgrade.
He wrote in The Times: “There is some work to be done on the pub itself as the cellar is too small, the gable end is falling down, the outside decking area is dangerous, the water is unfit for human consumption, the loft is full of dead rats and the lavatories are illegal."
