Amazon's Banbury delivery station hosted its annual Remembrance Day service.
The service honours British and Commonwealth military and civilian service members who served in the First and Second World Wars and other conflicts.
The delivery station is built on part of the old Alcan site, which played a significant role in WWII by manufacturing 60 per cent of the aircraft materials needed during the war.
The Alcan factory was Banbury's largest employer during the war, with more than 4,400 employees, 41 of whom did not return from the war.
The remembrance service was initially held in the memorial garden by Alcan employees and the community, and continues to be held on the grounds of the Amazon delivery station.
This year, the service was attended by Amazon employees, The Royal British Legion, a year group from the primary school, and former Alcan employees and their families.
Kerstine Reynolds, an Amazon employee, said: "The annual Alcan Remembrance Day service at Amazon in Banbury allows us to stop and remember the brave men and women who sacrificed their lives for ours.
"The service was beautiful and marked an important date in the calendar for our ex-military employees and other important military-supporting communities.
"It was a privilege to attend."
Amazon was ranked first in the top 50 employers of veterans in the UK by the GREAT British Employers of Veterans earlier this year.
