The latest court cases in Oxford Magistrates' Court:
ERICA DA SILVA, 32, of Banbury Road, Kidlington, pleaded guilty to drink driving in a Skoda in Park End Street, Oxford, on September 22 this year. Da Silva was banned from driving for 17 months, but this can be reduced by 17 weeks if a course is completed by October 2 next year. Da Silva must also pay costs of £83, a victim surcharge of £100 and a fine of £250.
JAN ANILLO, 26, of King Walk, Didcot, pleaded guilty to being in possession of a class A drug, namely cocaine, in Abingdon on January 13 this year. Anillo must pay costs of £85, a victim surcharge of £48 and a fine of £120. An order was also made for the drugs to be destroyed.
DENNIS AMOAH, 36, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to causing a serious injury by careless driving in a BMW 730D on Iffley Road, Oxford, on September 7 last year. He was banned from the road for 12 months and must pay costs of £85, a victim surcharge of £230, compensation of £500 and a fine of £576.
ROISIN FOUNTAIN, 33, of Granven Hill Road, Bicester, pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer and being drunk and disorderly in a public place in Reading on August 31 this year. Fountain must pay a victim surcharge of £144 and compensation of £75. She must also comply with the orders of the responsible officer to attend appointments for a maximum of 12 days. There were no orders for costs due to limited means.
DAVID MCMANUS, 56, of Brampton Road, Headington, pleaded guilty to one count of assault by beating in Oxford on July 4 this year. He was given a 12-month conditional discharge and must pay costs of £200 and compensation of £100.
ALAN RAE, 53, of Carterton Mobile Home Park, Carterton, pleaded guilty to drink driving on Minster Road, Brize Norton, on July 13 this year. He was banned from driving for 17 months, but this can be reduced by 17 weeks if a course is completed by April 4 2026. Rae must also pay £85 costs, a victim surcharge of £54 and a fine of £135.
PAUL CIANFARANI, 57, of Hartslock Bridleway, Whitchurch On Thames, pleaded guilty to breaching a non-molestation order on August 13 in Goring. He must wear an electronic tag until May 5 next year. He must also complete a rehabilitation activity for 30 days and comply with the orders of the responsible officer to attend appointments for a maximum of five days. He must also pay a victim surcharge of £114.
