Firefighters were called to a house fire which started in a laundry basket.
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service said they attended a small fire in a house in East Oxford at 3.35pm yesterday afternoon (November 21).
Three pumps were sent from Slade Fire Station in Oxford and two engines from Abingdon.
Fire crews used breathing apparatus and hose lines to put out the fire.
All crews had left the scene by 4.40pm.
Oxfordshire County Council issues home safety advice, including checking that all appliances are off, especially dishwashers, heaters and washing machines before bedtime.
Close all internal doors as this could stop a fire from spreading and save your life.
