RAF Brize Norton personnel have been learning about safer driving practices as part of an awareness week.

This week, the Road Safety Committee has held various events at the Carterton station designed to raise awareness and educate staff on improved driving habits.

More than 60 individuals attended a presentation by Sergeant Grogan on the dangers of drinking and driving, distractions, and speeding.

The RAF Brize Norton Police Flight monitored driver speeds at the station to educate those speeding and remind everyone of the station's speed regulations.

The session began with a briefing presenting alarming statistics on aircraft incidents and the potential costs of damages from negligence.
