Oxford Crematorium's annual Christmas memorial service is set to offer a "space for reflection and remembrance".
The service will be held at 2.30pm on Thursday, December 5, in the St John's Chapel.
It will be conducted by Reverend Hedley Feast and will include readings, moments of reflection, and traditional carols.
Attendees will be able to place personalised stars on the crematorium's memorial Christmas tree as a tribute to loved ones.
The stars, which will feature the names of loved ones or messages to them, will remain on the tree throughout the festive season.
Tricia Smith, business leader at Oxford Crematorium, said: "We understand how challenging the Christmas season can be, particularly for those facing their first holiday without a loved one.
"Families who have attended in previous years have expressed how much comfort this service brings them.
"Our hope is that this event provides a supportive space for the community to come together, reflect, and honour those who are no longer with us."
Refreshments, including hot drinks and festive treats, will be served following the service.
The crematorium said this will provide an opportunity for the community to connect with each other during the festive season.
Due to limited seating, the event will be ticketed. Those interested in attending can reserve their place by calling the crematorium office on 01865 351010.
