A head chef and two general managers have joined a Henley pub ahead of its opening in December.
The Duke, on the corner of Duke Street and Greys Road, has welcomed Adam Hague, Jason Herrington, and James Connelly to its team.
Mr Hague has been appointed as head chef and brings experience from Michelin-starred and Rosette-awarded establishments across the UK.
He said: "The food at The Duke will centre on small plates designed for sharing - or not, if you prefer.
"With fire and smoke as our inspiration, we’re crafting a menu of modern British dishes, lightly touched by Asian influences, that reflects both innovation and tradition."
Mr Herrington and Mr Connelly have been appointed as co-general managers.
A Henley native, Mr Herrington has more than nine years of hospitality experience, including managing local restaurants.
He said: "Henley has always been my home, and I’m thrilled to contribute to a project that will bring something truly special to the community."
Mr Connelly has a career spanning management roles at establishments like Sika Inns and The Stag and Huntsman.
He said: "At The Duke, I’ll be leading the beverage programme, crafting an innovative and sustainable drinks menu that highlights British-made spirits, craft beers, and fine wines.
"Our focus is on local and seasonal ingredients, ensuring a menu that complements our food and champions sustainability."
