A woman in her 70s died in hospital following a fall, an inquest opening has heard.

Erica Jill Killoh, of Orchard Way, Chinnor, died on Wednesday, November 13 at Stoke Mandeville Hospital in Aylesbury.

An inquest was opened into the 77-year-old's death by area coroner Nicholas Graham at Oxford Coroner's Court on Monday, November 25. 

The court heard that following a fall at home on Monday, November 11, she was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

She deteriorated and passed away two days later, the court heard.

A post-mortem was carried out and found her cause of death to be acute subdural haematoma, a traumatic head injury, multiple falls, epilepsy, type two diabetes mellitus and a previous stroke. 

A full inquest will now be held at Oxford Coroner's Court on Thursday, December 12 and is scheduled to take place at 10am.
