Children across Oxfordshire have been invited to design a costume for Tinkerbell to enter into a competition launched by Blenheim Palace.
The competition is calling on youngsters to showcase their artistic talents by dreaming up a new outfit for Neverland's fairy.
Inspired by JM Barrie’s Peter Pan, the competition is part of a collaboration with Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity.
Young designers can use any medium they choose to create their costume design, including pencils, crayons, paint, or felt tips.
The prize for the winning design includes four family tickets to the Neverland experience at the palace and the outdoor illuminated trail and a short break for four at the Blenheim Palace lodge retreat.
The winner will also get an opportunity to take home a fairy from the Neverland display after the festive season and enjoy a Neverland afternoon tea for four at The Orangery.
Four runners-up, one from each age group, will be awarded a family Palace and Play Pass for Christmas at Blenheim Palace, valid between December 16 and January 1.
The age groups are four and younger, five to six-year-olds, seven to eight-year-olds, and nine to 10-year-olds.
Entries can be submitted by downloading the Tinkerbell template sheet from the Blenheim Palace competition webpage, designing the costume, and submitting a photo or scan of the completed design via the online form.
The deadline for entries is 4pm on December 10.
