More than 400 calls from Oxfordshire were made to the fire service as Storm Bert led to severe flooding across the county.
Oxfordshire's chief fire officer, Rob MacDougall, said the joint Thames Valley Fire Control room logged over 800 calls in three days.
Of these, 405 calls were for Oxfordshire.
Mr MacDougall said Oxfordshire fire crews attended over 79 incidents.

The incidents included internal flooding, external flooding and rescues from water, including vehicles.
They were supported by officers, emergency planners and support teams across the Fire and Rescue Service and the wider County Council.
In a public statement posted on Thursday (November 28), Mr MacDougall said: "Thank you to everyone who has worked so hard to support Oxfordshire - you are awesome."
