Illustrator Korky Paul has created a window display at an Oxford museum to mark the start of the festive season.
The Story Museum welcomed Mr Paul on Monday, December 2, to create the seasonal display which features the characters Winnie and Wilbur as well as Father Christmas and a special Christmas message.
The display is in the Story Museum’s cafe windows, which will be viewable on Pembroke Street.
Mr Paul, an Oxford resident, is best known for his illustrations for the Winnie and Wilbur series, written by Valerie Thomas.
He has also worked on various other books for Oxford University Press, Penguin Books, and Random House, including anthologies of poems edited by John Foster and Michael Rosen.
His books, translated into 44 languages, have been published globally.
Mr Paul will be sharing his new picture book, One Snowy Christmas Eve, written by Marc Bratcher, in a special family event at The Story Museum on Saturday, December 7.
Families will see Mr Paul draw live, hear a book reading, and enjoy festive activities.
There will also be the chance to meet Mr Paul during a book signing session afterwards.
The event will take place from 2.30pm to 3.30pm and will feature a British Sign Language interpreter
It is open to children aged five or older and tickets will cost £10.
