A local Oxford radio station has been forced off the air after two separate criminal incidents.
The community radio station First FM which broadcasts to Oxford on 105.1 FM is currently off-air due to the theft of equipment from their transmitter site at Windrush Tower in Blackbird Leys.
One incident happened at around 1.20pm on Thursday, November 28 as Thames Valley Police received a report of a criminal damage incident at the tower in Oxford.
Then at around 12.42pm on Friday, November 29, officers received another report that equipment had been stolen from the same location.

The exact equipment or value of the stolen gear has not yet been revealed nor has the extent of damage dealt to the location but the police have asked those with information to come forward.
A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said: “Anyone with information, should call 101 or report online, quoting 43240576195.”
First FM is the on-air name of OX4 FM Community Interest company who have been broadcasting as a not-for-profit local community radio station in Oxford for over a decade.
As well as on-air programming, the station has provided media support and training to the local community.

A spokesperson for First FM said: “Anyone with any information is urged to contact Thames Valley Police.
“The volunteers running the station hope to resume broadcasting as soon as possible.”
