THE Oxford Mail player ratings after Oxford United breezed to a 4-0 win at home to Fleetwood Town on Easter Monday.
JAMIE CUMMING
Straightforward afternoon with relatively little to do between the posts – 6
SAM LONG
Fired just wide from the edge of the box with the score at 2-0. Good to see him getting back to form after an iffy period – 6.5
ELLIOTT MOORE
Miscued a header which allowed Tom Lonergan to run through on goal while the game was goalless, but otherwise he had a quiet day at the office – 6
CIARON BROWN
Was beaten for pace when Lonergan raced through, but apart from that, he was rarely tested – 6
JOE BENNETT
Got forward well and allows Josh Murphy to flourish in front of him by providing defensive solidity – 7

RUBEN RODRIGUES
Got the better of Bosun Lawal with an audacious nutmeg on the left corner of the penalty box, before bringing a save out of Jay Lynch – 7
CAMERON BRANNAGAN
Opened the scoring and played a lovely ball down the side for Josh Murphy in the lead-up to the second. MAN OF THE MATCH – 8
TYLER GOODRHAM
Deployed in an advanced central midfield role and did well. Has the attributes and qualities to play in the No 10 position – 7
OWEN DALE
Grabbed his first goal for the club and was a regular threat down the right-hand side – 7.5
MARK HARRIS
His two goals took him to 15 in all competitions, and 11 in the league this season – 7.5
JOSH MURPHY
Put the ball on a plate for Harris’ first goal and was a constant thorn in the Cod Army defence. Arguably the most important player in the team right now – 8
SUBSTITUTES
Marcus Browne (for Dale, 61)
Worked his way into some good areas and got a valuable half an hour under his belt – 7
Billy Bodin (for Rodrigues, 70)
Had a couple of efforts from the centre of the penalty area, but saw them well blocked – 6.5
James Henry (for Goodrham, 70)
The system with two advanced midfielders seems to suit him, and he looked lively when he came on – 6.5
Greg Leigh (for Murphy, 82)
Unused: Eastwood, Thorniley, McEachran.
Substitutes who come on after the 75th minute do not get a rating.
